Teaching young children about consent!

Liz Kleinrock, an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles, goes by the Instagram name “@teachandtransform” is using social media as a tool to show how she is educating her students about consent and anti-biases. Kleinrock shows how educators, parents, and basically anyone, can learn all about consent and ways to teach consent.

What Kleinrock addresses how it’s alarming for parents to discuss consent because of its relation to sex. But it is important to break these concepts and terminology down at an early age to create a foundation for students’ moral compasses.

“As educators and adults, we cannot change the past, but we can teach our students strategies to change these outcomes in the future” – Kleinrock.
